Pecan Pie Cake
Ingredients
18-1/2 oz. pkg. yellow cake mix, divided
1/2 c. margarine, melted
4 eggs, divided
1-1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 t. vanilla extract
1/8 t. salt
1-1/2 c. chopped pecans
Directions
Set aside 2/3 cup of cake mix for topping.
Combine remaining cake mix with melted margarine and one eff; mix well.
Press into a greased and floured 13"X9" baking pan; bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Mix reserved cake mix, remaining eggs; corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla and salt.
Pour over baked cake; sprinkle with pecans.
Bake for an additional 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Let cool. Serves 8 to 10.
